I just got back from a night out in Rome with my friend and her cute (Italian!) roommates. I'm staying in a hotel that requires my own stop on the cab ride home, and just before we get there one of them asks me something. My Italian is much worse than it should be so without really understanding what she said I replied "It's ok I know where to go." After I had enough time to process all the words she said, I realize she *may* have been asking to walk back with me.
Cazzo. I may be able to salvage another chance tomorrow night. Sometimes I wish I wasn't so dense.

Bring her roommates to Cincinnati, I'll use my understanding of the Romance languages.

That was when you were supposed to lean seductively against the cab and say in a sultry english voice "why yes, you *can* go back to my room with me" and then wink. One of the other girls will squeal and then translate it for her. Then either a) you have a fun night or b) you're in your current situation. There is a side possibility of getting slapped but the pain goes away fast enough. Go for broke!

It literally means cock, so whenever I hear it I think of James May...

Something like this has happened to me at least once. I hate this too much.
